LAD&T Technical Author (Network) Thorn SDS require an LAD&T Technical Author (Network) to work on behalf of our Central Government client, based in Corsham, Wiltshire. We are searching for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer to complement our team in Germany. The responsibilities of the service include the routine and special operations of operational METEOSAT spacecraft, continuous monitoring of spacecraft performance and the operations preparation of the next generation of geostationary spacecraft. In addition to a relevant university degree, team members are expected to have expertise across one or more subsystems (METEOSAT, MTG or similar EO Payload would be ideal, thermal, power, TT&C), knowledge of python programming and able to work seamlessly together with the rest of the team to ensure a level of competence is always available.
